Example of Field Mapping

This field mapping example shows two projects within a workbook.

• Column 1 is a Primavera P6 project.
• Column 2 is a Microsoft Project (MSP) project.

For the Acumen field called Baseline Duration, the corresponding default field for the Primavera project is Planned/Original Duration whereas in the MSP project, the same field is known as Baseline Duration. Based on the default mappings, Acumen normalizes these fields even though the field names are actually different. Within your workbook, this field is then referred to as Baseline Duration.
